Virtual Server offers a single click secure connection to your Virtual Server instance's right from your browser, supporting SSH access for Linux/Unix-based instances and RDP access for Windows-based Virtual Server instances. To use the single click connections, launch your Virtual Server instance management screens, click Launch Connect in your services menu, which will open a new browser window and automatically connects to your Virtual Server instance using SSH or RDP.

Yes, from your services Menu, you can set rules about which ports of your Virtual Server are publicly accessible for different types of traffic.

If you want to back up your data, you can take a snapshot of your Virtual Server, via your services menu. If there is a failure or corruption of the Operating System, you can later use your Virtual Server snapshot to create a brand new Virtual Server instance.
